Galaxy S24 Series Gets Back on Track with One UI 7 Rollout

Samsung has faced significant difficulties during their One UI 7 update rollout process. The Android 15-based firmware started distributing to South Korean and European users later than planned last week but stopped because of software bugs.
The Samsung software team successfully fixed the bugs which allowed them to resume the One UI 7 update deployment. Samsung has resumed the update rollout to Galaxy S24 and S24+ along with S24 Ultra customers in South Korea using the new S926NXXX5BYD9 build.
Samsung faced challenges during its One UI 7 release this year. The beta testing period extended beyond normal duration while the stable version release further delayed. The update deployment began but was stopped immediately because a bug created serious problems for users' devices. Samsung halted the update for all Galaxy S24 devices globally after discovering a problem with the Korean versions.
Samsung is advancing the One UI 7 update for its latest foldable phones which include the Galaxy Z Fold 6 and the Galaxy Z Flip 6 alongside the Galaxy Z Fold 6 Special Edition together with the Galaxy S24 series. The update for these devices faced a halt for similar issues but has resumed distribution in Korea. The software builds for these phones contain bug fixes as well as general stability improvements.
Users should manually verify their device update availability by going to Settings > Software update menu. Samsung's expanded release means users will soon receive the update even if it hasn't appeared yet.
Samsung phones running Android 15 benefit from One UI 7 through its enhanced interface design and upgraded AI features along with improved system performance. Make certain that you possess sufficient storage space prior to updating because major software upgrades require substantial space.
